Welcome to the Wraptures[tm] texture map sampler disk. Wraptures[tm] is a CD ROM library of textures for mapping to three dimensional objects (primarily) and each one comes in a variety of resolutions, depending on your need, or desire. The seven Wrapture[tm] textures included on this disk are optimized 8-bit PICTs, and as such, are able to be used with almost all two & three dimensional animation packages for the Macintosh. The shipping CD ROM will be 24-bit & 8-bit by 1024x512/512x512 down to 128x128 pixel versions of all you see here, as well as scores of others.
Retail price will be $129.∫∫
Naming Conventions:
We name our textures a-in the following ways; observe the following semi-cryptic title, ``Water1/8+@512x256''. To decipher:
First the name of the image (Water1), followed immediately by a slash (/) and numeral (8+) to denote bit depth (an 8-bit optimized pallete in this case), and then the ``at'' symbol (@) and a dimension (x,y) in pixels. This terse naming convention is due to the volume of files found on our CD-ROM, suffice to say that the first name will do you fine on this sample disk.
So boot your program, set up a render, and enjoy the show.
